Russian goaltender named best player at WW18

Valeria Tarakanova was named the tournament MVP. She is the first goaltender so honoured at the WW18. Sheh played in all six of her team's games, allowed 14 goals and earned one shutout and posted a GAA of 2.91 despite playing Canada twice and the United States once.
